“The Warrior” Mission

More Than a Truck

Picture of The Warrior Monster Truck and Flag

The Warrior flag has become the symbol of pride, unity and resistance for Native People across Turtle Island. For a Monster Truck to be worthy of such an iconic symbol it must be more than a truck. The equipment will be a demonstration of sheer strength and awesome power, but when “The Warrior” enters an arena, every Native man, woman and child will finally have a world-class mainstream competitor/entertainer that they can identify with and take pride in. The exploitation of Native images and culture ends here. “The Warrior” will literally be a vehicle to draw attention to all that Native People hold dear; Pride, Culture, Sovereignty, the Earth and most of all that We are still here and, like “The Warrior”, We are to be reckoned with. The Warrior will provide an opportunity for anyone to take a glimpse into Native history and culture while proclaiming a contemporary presence and a commitment to the Earth and future generations. In further cementing the Warrior as a recognizable household image, it is a goal to promote Native pride as well as respect and understanding among the general public. The Warrior will firmly establish itself in the world of Monster Truck competition and entertainment, but it will always be inherently bound to the People it represents and the image it bears.
